Not sure why this came to mind this morning, but I felt like sharing it.
Years ago, a friend of my mom told us about her daughter who worked in a high-level role at an investment bank in New York. The hours were long, and personal health often took a back seat. The company realized many of their female employees might be missing routine checkups, so they arranged for a mobile mammogram unit to come directly to the office. They cleared entire floors and made sure every woman of the appropriate age received a screening.
Two employees happened to be out that day, my mom’s friend’s daughter and one colleague. Amazingly, the mobile unit returned on another day just for these two ladies! And would you believe it… both of them were diagnosed with breast tumors.
I’ll leave the interpretation to you, but I hope it inspires a moment of reflection.
